Get Ready to Kick Up Some Fun, Join Our Youth Kickball League!

Calling all young athletes (and future all-stars)! Does you kid no longer play on any sports teams, but you still want them to be active and social? Did all their friends go to elite sports teams, and they were left behind? Or does your kid just want to play some kickball? Whatever the reason, our Youth Kickball League is the perfect place to be! This co-ed league is designed for players of all skill levels, grades 3rd to 6th grade. We focus on fostering a social and fun atmosphere, the way sports use to be. There are no practices, no elite traveling clubs, no coaching clinics, and zero promise for a college scholarship. But we do promise a whole lot of fun in a safe and social environment.  3rd and 4th graders from the same school will compete against other 3rd and 4th graders from around the metro.  We'll do the same for 5th and 6th graders as well.  

Here's what you can expect:

• 5 games and a shirt: We'll play Saturday mornings starting September 7th at Sunnyside Park in Waldo. All kids will receive a league shirt.  Season lasts 5 weeks.  
• Easy to learn, fun to play: All the kids already play kickball at school - they know what they're doing.
• Focus on sportsmanship and teamwork: Umpires won't be provided. Instead, we expect the kids to practice good sportsmanship and learn how to communicate close calls with opposing teams. 
• Made for fun: We prioritize a positive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.
• Volunteer Coaches: We ask that there's at least one parent per team that is willing to help herd the team, keep track of the batting order, help end any disputes, and communicate with the league officials if needed.
